Sergio's Last Stand is a Challenge Mode level in TimeSplitters 2. Sergio faces off against a never-ending horde of flaming zombies. The goal is to get as many points as you can by shooting off heads and arms without dying.
The last act performed tonight, this will star our very own Sergio the Strongman. We feel privileged to welcome our guests, a time travelling group of flaming zombies. Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for Sergio's Last Stand!
This challenge can be quite difficult. The only weapon available is the Tactical 12-Gauge. The best strategy here is to circle around the room without going out of bounds and use the secondary firing function of the 12-Gauge that fires 2 rounds of the shotgun. This will usually kill the zombies in one shot. Avoid being caught by the flames. If you do catch fire, you can use the Fire Extinguisher behind the poles to put yourself out. Just continue to circle the room without letting any zombies get behind you or corner you. If you run out of ammo, Shotgun ammo respawns every round in the middle of the room. Try to avoid getting hurt during the rounds because you will receive extra points for being uninjured.
- Get a few extra easy points, shooting arms off zombies will get 25 points for each arm, so 125 points can be scored from each zombie instead of 75 for going straight for a head-shot, it is worth doing this to get some extra points on the first few easy rounds & also on the last few zombies left of each round, it is actually worth much more than this as the bonus at the end of each round is equal to the points scored in the round, or double the points scored if "perfect" is acheived (if the player took no damage in the round) this means the extra 50 points scored on a zombie in this way can actually become an extra 150. Be aware that hits on zombies' legs score no points & 3 hits will normally finish a zombie off so be careful not to lose out on the 75 points for a head-shot, also whatever you do, don't take too much of a risk & get hit & miss out on a "perfect" you should have got. Punching a head off scores 100 points instead 75 of shooting but punching isn't recommended as it's very likely you will be hit or set on fire.
- Pick up the fire extinguisher at the start so you will have it when you need it & pick it up again to top it up when it's running low.
- When your magazine is low, switching away from the Tactical 12-Gauge then back will replenish all of its bullets.
