Insect Mutant is a man, called Frank, holding up a large fly-like Alien which appears through his stomach, also on the back of Frank's shirt is the text "Frank's Motors", and his human face is also mutated, somewhat like that of the Priest Mutant. The Alien's head is classified as the character's head, and firing at Frank's head does not count towards a headshot. They appear in the original TimeSplitters, and then reappear for TimeSplitters 2 as a classic character, however, they have failed to make a third appearance.

The Insect Mutant reappears in TimeSplitters 2, becoming one of the few Classic characters to have survived from the first game. Though he returned, there was no effort to include him in anything but Bot Sets in the game. There he is associated with the other Classic characters and the Chinese Restaurant, despite having never appeared in its story.

[edit] 1950, Village

Main article: Village (Story)

In a Village in the 1950s, a cursed artefact was bought in and it has massive effects on the people, mutating them. It is believed it is of alien construction as some of the Mutants have appeared to have shown. It is the Mission of two Scientists, Doctor Seth Graven and Katje Nadir to return this artefact for deep research, however the Mutants seem to be against this, whether it being their own choice or it controls their mind, only death will stop them from trying to preserve it, hidden beneath the Village.
