The HeatSeeker is a homing rocket launcher, found in Timesplitters Future Perfect. Its only appearence was on Khallos Express where Cortez had to use it to keep the helicopter gunships off his past self whom was dealing with the henchmen on the rooftop of Cortez's train.

It was hardly seen again after that.

Usage Edit

The HeatSeeker may have appeared in a earlier timezone than its more futuristic counterpart it serves as a replacement for it.

While staying true to its name, the HeatSeeker can lock on to a single target, which is hinted by the flashing 'Target Locked' under the Radar.

It is a very powerful weapon, capable of inflicting heavy casualities in the hands of a skilled user.

Weaknesses Edit

The HeatSeeker has been nerfed by a grave margin than its prequel version.

The missiles themselves are far less efficient of taking down a target with its turning radius being given a much wider berth so a manuverable target can evade incoming missiles much easier than before.

With a much less amount of spare missiles, a user can carry, alongside the burden of reloading the HeatSeeker after every shot, the user may have to make every shot count, unless spare ammo is plentiful nearby.

TriviaEdit

  • In real life the heatseeker resembles the Soviet made 9K32 "Strela 2" anti-air rocket launcher.
