Pulov Yuran is a soldier working for Jacob Crow in 1924 on the island of Urnsay during the mission Scotland the Brave. All the Soldiers appear to speak with Russian or Eastern European accents. This could be because they were seconded to Crows private army from Khallos's troops (at the time, Khallos was in Russia, so it would make sense that the Henchmen he hired would be Russian).

Trivia[]

  • He shares his voice clips with Ivor Baddic and Comrade Papadov, voiced by Damon Tasker.
  • Baddic, Yuran and Papadov have the same gesture, but all three of them use unique gesture dialogue.
  • Pulov Yuran's name is a play on words, sounding like "pool of urine".
  • In the intro for You Take The High Road, when Cortez throws him, he screams like Hank Nova/Goddard, using one of their death sounds (the same one used by a Henchman in The Khallos Express).
  • Pulov Yuran is replaced by Ivor Baddic in Mapmaker story levels.
  • On the loading screen that appears before you start an Arcade match or Story level, the first message on the scroll bar will always say "Have you played as Pulov Yuran yet?"
  • As Captain Ash notes when first seeing them, all of Crow's soldiers on Urnsay are wearing quite strange uniforms, the most important part of which seems to be the unusual-looking, U-shaped armour vest. Crow's soldiers also wear respirators at all times, perhaps to protect themselves from possible gas attacks, which were common during that era. Pulov Yuran is also wearing a large Stahlhelm-esque helmet with the front visor in upward position (note that such experimental helmets were common during World War I, especially among German and US infantry).
  • He shares his viewmodel arms with Ivor Baddic, Comrade Papadov, Deep Diver, Warrant Officer Cain, and Warrant Officer Keely.
