Chinese Chef appears as a character based around the Chinese Restaurant in the original TimeSplitters. From then onwards he has appeared as one of the "Classic Characters" appearing in every game to date. The chefs appear to be Chinese men in chefs' uniforms with tattoos on their arms.

Chinese Chef's first appearance was in the first game appearing as a generic enemy. The appeared with Chinese Waiter workers at the Chinese Restaurant.

The Chinese Chef returns in TimeSplitters 2, though the Chinese Waiter and others who were based around the Chinese restaurant did not. The Chef has no important role within this game though he has two Arcade League matches in which he is eliminating mass amounts of Calamari and Gingerbread Men at the Chinese, which he is highly associated with.

Chinese Chef remains as one of the few characters that appear in all of the games. He again has no real role in the game, even less, however the introduction of the Gaston Boucher to the series has sparked up a new enemy for the Chinese man.

The Chinese Chef appears as a generic enemy at a Chinese Restaurant housing a criminal gang, them included. As the cops came in they had to protect the evidence from them the only way they knew how.
