|Location||In the Aztec Jungle|
|Recommended Bots|| High Priest|
|Recommended Weapons|| Crossbow|
Like the story mode mission, Aztec features several different rooms. These include a a room with six pillars, a pond, a bridge that spans over a river, and several corridors. The map is mainly close-quarters, meaning that there isn't much room.
This map is medium-sized, and new players can easily lose themselves. Unlike in story mode, there are no beehives. The plants, when set on fire, can become deadly to players, as even touching them when they're burning can issue serious damage and a quick kill. However, the plant wont set you on fire. The map includes a small pond in which you can put yourself out if you're on fire. There are many torches scattered around the map; touching them with the crossbow (standing right under it and looking at it) will light the bolt on fire, allowing you to set enemies on fire.
Gameplay Advice Edit
This map is good for Virus and Flame Tag, due to the many corridors and such (unless you want dead ends everywhere). Also, all the Deathmatch type modes are good (i.e. Regeneration and Elimination), although team modes play rather dull here. The music recommendations are (rather obviously) Aztec Exterior and the more battle-like Aztec Interior.
- Activating the pillars in the pillar room won't make them turn like in Story Mode, however the sound of it turning can still be heard.
