He's got secret bases, doomsday devices, scores of henchmen and a penchant for over elaborate death scenes. Archibald Granville Khallos is the archnemesis of Harry Tipper and is largely based on Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the recurring head of the criminal organisation "SPECTRE" in James Bond books and films. This is a fitting choice to base him on since most of the team behind TimeSplitters also worked on Goldeneye 007 for the Nintendo 64. Khallos has appeared in both TimeSplitters 2 and TimeSplitters Future Perfect as Harry's rival.

Khallos owns the Hangar (Superfly Lady) and the Zeppelin (Zany Zeppelin) and a train (The Khallos Express) and an island (Atom Smasher). He also has a Cat called Strudel.

1969 Russian Connection/Khallos ExpressEdit

In TimeSplitters Future Perfect, Crow has combined forces with Khallos in what is chronologically the first encounter with him. Crow promised Khallos eternal life, and Khallos gave him a small army in return. This army was used to protect Urnsay, the island were Crow was mining the crystals. In his own story, Khallos is attempting to start World War 3 by launching a nuclear missile from his train. He has kidnapped Harry Tipper's girlfriend Kitten Celeste in an attempt to keep Tipper off his back. Cortez and Tipper eventually catch up with Khallos and put an end to his plans and rescue Kitten.

1972 Atom SmasherEdit

In TimeSplitters 2, Khallos was up to his old tricks again, researching sub-atomic particles in his secret island base. He had captured Harry Tipper and set up a laser to kill him, however Tipper escaped again and Khallos, rather than be brought to justice, started the self-destruction sequence. Tipper managed to deactivate the bombs and destroy Khallos' Atom Smasher.

TriviaEdit

• The name 'Khallos' is a spelling variation of the word callous, meaning emotionally hardened and unfeeling.
• Despite his connections with Russia, Khallos actually seems to have either a British or German accent.
• In TimeSplitters 2, Khallos has short dark brown/black hair, however in TimeSplitters Future Perfect he is balding and has blonde hair. This is odd, because the TimeSplitters Future Perfect version takes place two years before the TimeSplitters 2 version, but he could be wearing a wig.
